Cozy home with a vintage touch

I like the simple decor of this home . It looks cozy and inviting but minimal at the same time and the vintage pieces really stand out in this interior. The kitchen chairs designed by Marcel Breuer match this space very nicely and I like the simple white shelving on the otherwise empty wall in the living room. Black kitchen with a green touch

Plants and herbs really are such a great decor element in the kitchen aren’t they ? I like the large amount of greens hanging above the kitchen table. They give this space such a fresh look. via  Alvhem First seen on Coco Lapine Design

Apartment in Texas Hides Mondrian-Inspired Wall Design

Sanders Architecture  collaborated with  Cravotta Interiors  to design and develop a modern apartment in downtown Austin, Texas. An array of materials and textures make this place vivid and appealing. Moreover, each functional area has its own personality, as you can observe in the photo gallery below. “Close attention to detail is key to the beauty of this 3,100 square-foot (288 square-meter) condo customization,” the architects said. “A rearrangement of spaces and a playful embrace of existing infrastructure was necessary to accommodate a family of four in this high-rise urban condominium.” A steel and glass wall divides the living areas; this installation is inspired by the art of Piet Mondrian and is undoubtedly the highlight of the apartment. It also serves a practical purpose, as it opens up to reveal a television set. Check out the pool table next to it, that can transform into a welcoming dining table for eight. Large expanses of glass bring views of downtown Austin insid

Separated kitchen and living room

I like this half wall separating the kitchen and living room in this place. The other room comes peaking through and the two places are more connected. I like the small kitchen table next to the window, just small enough to catch all the morning light and just big enough to fit two people for their morning coffee. via Fantastic Frank First seen on Coco Lapine Design

SNIGLAR changing table grows up into this

Materials: IKEA SNIGLAR changing table 4 x Toggle Latches Handle (you can also opt for a stylish leather one ) Foam Fabric Photo: IKEA.com I needed a quick and cheap way to carry on all my effects pedals in one case and just plug 3 cables, one from my bass to the pedals, one from the pedal chain to the amp and the power cord. Since the kids have grown up we didn’t need anymore the changing bed (although I was using it as a storage cabinet), I decided to hack it into a pedal board case. Just cut the legs, put some hard foam in the bottom and soft foam with fabric on the top, 4 removable latches on the sides, a handle and we’re ready to go!! ~ by Yiannis Mytalas You may also like these ideas for DIY pedal boards Florian admits that this might seem a little decadent (though we honestly love the rock-glam), but aside from its practical use it is excellent as a musician’s living room decoration. Stylish home with warm details

I like the rose and mustard details that come back in every corner of this apartment. They give the space a soft, warm and fun look. I like the lowered wall that separates the kitchen and living room as well and the black dining chairs give a little bit more contrast to the dining area. via Alvhem First seen on Coco Lapine Design

Turn of the century home with great pieces

This home has the most beautiful mouldings, fire places and turn of the century architectural details, which gives the interior a naturally chic and sophisticated vibe. These classic elements were combined very nicely with a clean and minimal kitchen and bathroom and a few new and classic design items for a perfectly balanced look. I like the kitchen island with the two black  Calabash lamps and the lower dining table with the leather Wick chairs . The combination of these two worktop heights works very nicely. via Fantastic Frank First seen on Coco Lapine Design
