My question is this: I bought 2 LINNMON table tops to make a corner table. 1. 120 x 60 cm 2. 200 x 60 cm FYI – IKEA does not offer the “LINNMON Corner Table Top” in our location 🙁 I want to set them up as in the above image, but want to keep the corner clear (remove leg in blue), since I will have a monitor in the corner and want the free space. Note: I will be moving the middle leg, needed for the larger table top, to the back side instead of right in the middle. I found one hack on your site, where someone made frames for the tables tops and put the legs on those . So I found this IKEA GLADOM tray table in the bargains section in IKEA and all sorts of ideas came into my head. I’ve been looking for a side table for a while but couldn’t seem to find one that I loved. So I thought to myself, if this works, awesome! If not, I didn’t lose too much money! IKEA items used: GLADOM tray table Other materials and tools: Hack instructions for luxe tray table Make sure your table is clean and remove all stickers. Spray paint the bottom part gold and the tray black. I did it outside. First, I spray painted one side and after a few hours did the second making sure the coats completely dried in between. Next, I applied the sticker to the tray. First, wipe your table clean. I started at one end and slowly smoothed it till the other end.
