Lampe Gras floor lamp from Flinders - via Coco Lapine Design DCW Éditions floor lamp from Flinders - via Coco Lapine Design I love reading a good book before I go to bed and for a while now I was looking for a suitable reading lamp that I can direct towards me and that looks great in our bedroom. The DCW Éditions Lampe Gras N411, available at Flinders checks all of these boxes and I couldn’t be happier with how it looks in our bedroom.

The N411 lamp, designed by Bernard-Albin Gras can be adjusted in many different angles, so that it’s always looking over your shoulder. The double elbow joint makes this a very practical lamp, but also adds a graphic look to the interior. I chose the all black version, but the lamp is available in five different finishes.
Almost the entire DCW range is available at Flinders, along with many other furniture and design pieces, both modern and classic. Mind the gap: Fit IKEA MALM over a tall baseboard

I forgot one thing when I ordered the MALM dresser : The baseboards in my apartment are very tall and very wide. So, when I installed it, I had a 4 cm gap between the wall and the back of the cabinet which was not aesthetically possible for me. As it is not possible to cut the back of dresser at the bottom to leave room for the tall baseboard, I decided that MALM should be raised. And it was much simpler than I had imagined.
