Inviting home with a blue bedroom

Every room in this beautiful home has a wall treatment fitting to the area exactly. The living room is painted in a greener grey, which makes this room very warm, but still clean. The kitchen has beige cabinet finishes, matching the antique pieces and contrasting with the concrete countertop. The bedroom is painted in a deep blue, which gives a midnight feeling (still my favorite color for a bedroom, even though I have seen it over and over). Lastly the office space has a wallpaper, which makes this room different then all the others. I like the built in sofa area here as well and the door that was kept unpainted.

Mind the gap: Fit IKEA MALM over a tall baseboard

I forgot one thing when I ordered the MALM dresser : The baseboards in my apartment are very tall and very wide. So, when I installed it, I had a 4 cm gap between the wall and the back of the cabinet which was not aesthetically possible for me. As it is not possible to cut the back of dresser at the bottom to leave room for the tall baseboard, I decided that MALM should be raised. And it was much simpler than I had imagined.
