Before and After – Freestanding Bath Renovations

Our new series of coming articles will display and show off a little some of the great before after bathroom renovations we have completed. These are just a fraction of the bathrooms we do but each one we are incredibly proud of.

The key to this style of layout is to understand that cleaning will be the big factor in if you want this design. Unlike a traditional drop-in bath which has brickwork all around it the freestanding often has gaps in place of those bricks. It’s important to note that often you can stand in the bath and get to these spots so it’s not the end of the world but if you are someone who has difficulty bending I wouldn’t recommend it.

Today we will display 5 before and after bathroom renovations throughout Perth, WA  that have incorporated the freestanding bath in the classic family bathroom layout.

The freestanding looks and feels great. Often its a bath adult and children can use. My wife personally every time we book a hotel or stay anywhere wants a tub bath so i know it can be a great selling point. If you are dead set on keeping a bath i would recommend getting a freestanding bath. The downsides are its cost which can be $750 to $1500 more experience to purchase oppose to the drop in bricked in bath and the cleaning factor. If they are not an issue for you then always go the freestanding.
